Sharing Our Stories
We can greatly help each other, in our journey towards God, by listening to the experiences of fellow brothers and sisters on the path. It might be a one to one catch up in a cafe or a small gathering at one of our congregants' homes or you may like to attend a prayer session - it's as flexible as you are. Scripture Study Sessions
In our weekly study sessions, we have a mixture of teaching, from our community sharing their experiences to discussions around our smaller table groups, as we seek to apply the scriptures into our working lives, always leaving time to pray at the beginning and end of the session. It would be beautiful to have you join us.
The Seven Levels of Silence
Prayer gives us the opportunity to become quiet and feel closer to God. Contemplation and prayer allows God to come through you by practicing putting yourself in the unknown and trusting God. To discover the support of God for you in your life, please join us for our weekly prayer sessions. Everyone is welcome.
Quiet Days
Quiet Days are designed to give you the opportunity to give God your full attention, to contemplate your faith and to respond in prayer. These days include examples of how others spend their quiet time and an introductory thought from scripture. We also come together for a meal and reflection later in the day.

The Seven Bridges
The Seven Bridges is our three-year discipleship course. The goal of our course is to deepen your relationship, devotion and commitment to God. Learn how to apply compassion, trust, acceptance and courage to your everyday life. This course is for people who consider themselves active members of the Essene congregation, who attend study sessions on a regular basis, who actively participate in the community and who practice prayer and contemplation consistently. It is held on a Saturday and Sunday on one weekend a month.
Scripture Study Sessions - Volunteer Days
Jesus asks us to contribute to our fellow human beings by saying "love thy neighbour as thyself". In our volunteer days, there is a focus on applying the Seven Commitments to the working day. Volunteers begin and complete each day with a study and prayer session. The group also comes together for meals and spiritual reflection over the course of the volunteer period.
